After being put into bat, the Tigers led by Ashwin Shetty posted 100 in 15 overs. The skipper led from the front with a majestic 29(22) with good support from the dependable Anthony Fernando 16(18) and the clever Chirag Jain 15(19). For the Lions, skipper Varun Pawashe claimed 4/16 and Steve chipped in with 3/13. After a shaky start, the Lions found themselves with 4 down and just 20 runs on the board in 5 overs. Lions were staring at their 4th defeat in a row, when Shahnawaz khan pulled a rabbit out of his bat. He hit 3 sixes of his first three balls, and made a brilliant 37(22) with support from Karan Asrani and brought the team to the doorsteps of victory.
