Austin - Shahnawaz star in Chirag XI win Shobit's Blitzkrieg in vain as Chirag XI trounce Rajeev XI

After electing to bat Rajeev XI posted 145 in 24 overs. The mainstay of the innings was a stunning blitzkrieg by the lethal Shobit Sabharwal who put on 44(24). He was supported by skipper Rajeev Kapoor, Vaibhav Mahajan and Allwyn Quadros. Shahnawaz Khan and Gautam Dutt were the pick of the bowlers for Chirag XI. The reply from Chirag XI was anchored by a brilliant partnership between Austin Wandkar and Anthony Fernando. The game was set to go down to the wire with 14 needed off 12 before Shahnawaz Khan rescued the team with a quick fire innings and won the game in the penultimate over.
