After electing to bat Shahnawaz 11 were off to a disastrous start with 4/20 in 4overs. Sagar Shetty and Steve were the main tormentors. Then Hiren Vora was joined by Mahesh K who showed how to make experience count. They steadied the ship and kept the team in the game before a middle order collapse stalled the teams chances of a good score. Gautam Dutt bowling some mindblogging yorkers effected the collapse Then Navin Naronha with support from Anthony Mascrenhas posted a respectable total. With 105 to win, Manan 11 decided to do take the powerplay in the very first over. Anthonys brilliant bowling and the catching led by skipper Shahnawaz Khan ensured the ploy backfired. With 34/7 in just 8 overs, Manan 11 had their back to the wall before Gautam and Shobit Sabharwal kept their nerves to steer their team out of danger. But some brilliant bowling by Melwyn (4/16)and Harbinder Singh made sure the wickers kept falling at regular intervals. The game went down to the wire with 10 needed of 12.
