Vishal XI notched a 18 run victory over Gautam XI in the Sunday Special. Opening for Vishal XI, Hiren Vora(20)and Jimmy Mathew (26) put up 45 runs in 6 overs. Amit Motwani (28) and Faiz Sheikh (33) struck form after some forgettable outings in recent matches. Faiz made his 36 in just 23 balls that powered the side to 150. Dr Ajay Singh (2-12) was the pick of the bowlers for Gautam XI. The reply saw a top order collapse engineered by Steve. The 52 year old wizard took 3 wickets reducing the opponents to 10/4 at the end of 2 overs. Then a resilient Gautam rescued the innings with a fighting 56 with assistance from Fernando (18) and Albin(16)but in the end was stranded without partners as their innings folded up with 132 on board.
